​Gynecology Health & Exams

​Dr. Colene Arnold provides routine gynecologic examinations for women throughout their lifespan. Office visits can vary depending on the needs of her clients. She is adept at working with her patients at the pace that they are willing to engage in the care of their gynecologic health. At times clients wish to have a "meet and greet" visit, scheduling their physical exam on a different day while other clients wish to have their visit performed all on one day.  

A typical visit will consist of a full history of past experiences as well as a current health history. Preventative measures will be addressed based on the age of her clients.  Reproductive desires including Birth Control options, Menstrual needs, Sexual and Menopausal concerns will be highlighted. A physical exam will include a breast and pelvic examination.  Up to date routine guidelines for pap screening are followed. Referrals will be made to a client's preferred site for screening mammograms, bone densitometry, and laboratory testing.  

Dr. Arnold's special interest and expertise includes chronic pelvic pain, bladder pain or dysfunction, painful sex, dryness caused by menopause, vulvovaginal disorders/pain and menopausal disorders. If you are a patient with any of these disorders a one hour consultation can be scheduled with Dr. Arnold to discuss your concerns, determine a plan for further evaluation and design an individual treatment regimen for you. No treatment plan is the same for all clients.
